This project is about an interactive route guide for travellers and other bus users to get their destination from one place to another in London. It aims to supply a better city exploring experience for the users than the current bus-taking method.
Optimise physical route accessing - Make taking buses creatively for city exploring.
Bus service would help new residents to get used to their new life in London. The bus service has improved that people can get routes from different platforms.
However, for people who are new to a city community. Would the information board with a spider map assist people in exploring the new living area? Or such dense information boards may discourage newcomers? That is also the reason that caused the discontinuation of spider map updating at each stop. A mobile phone app is more convenient than a physical map because App can bring bus routes directly in front of the users.
MATCHING is about an interactive route guide for travellers and other bus users to get their destination from one place to another in London. It could supply a better city exploring experience for the users than the current bus taking method.  Travellers will be able to confirm that they are facing the correct direction of travel by the extent to which their circle overlaps with the circle on the bus stop floor. By comparing the surrounding houses, plants and traffic signs, it will also help people to better familiarise themselves with their area for the purpose of exploring and integrating into the city.

I. Check and match the patterns with surrounding landmarks.
"I am at the centre of the circle, if I look left I will see a big area of green trees on the opposite; if I look at the opposite road, I probably see a green terra house in my front left and a charge station is on its left. If I keep going along the road I will see embassy flags on my right. Ok, it is matched with the ground patterns."
II. Match my circles with ground circles to determine directions
"There is a circle in front of me, but the pattern is totally converse to mine. Ok, I got it. I am facing the opposite direction. What should I do now is turn backwards, that's my direction."

Circles: Official and customized Circles at Palace Gate Station, London
Location applied: South Kensington (Museums+ Imperial college)
this game will help people share and document their memory of the city exploration during the day.
Firstly, people can know a city area well by matching virtual icons with the real surroundings. On the other hand, through printing, people can match circles just like stamp collecting and punch card games to save their experience.
I also hope Matching circle could provide people interaction with other people and the city, give them the city blonging sense.
